(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
(i) B5281 Broughton Beck, from its junction with the U5102, extending in a north westerly direction for a distance of approx. 1.4km.
Alternative Route: via the A5092, A590, A590 County Road and the B5281 Town Bank Road.
Duration: From 13th July 2026 for approx. 1 month (Ref: TTROW/I918 – Phase 1)
(ii) U5102 Broughton Beck, from its junction with the B5281, extending in a south easterly direction for a distance of approx. 605m.
Alternative Route: via the B5281.
Duration: From 27th July 2026 for approx. 1 month (Ref: TTROW/I918 – Phase 2)

The Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
