Various Roads, Portsmouth - New Waiting Restrictions

NEW WAITING RESTRICTIONS, VARIOUS ROADS

Portsmouth City Council hereby gives Notice that on the 29 June 2026 it made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 1 July 2026.
The effect of the Order will be as follows:
a) To introduce “No Waiting at Any Time” restrictions (double yellow lines) at the following locations:
NORMAN ROAD AND TREVOR ROAD
Between Nos. 46 and 54:
Norman Road-north side: For a distance of 5 metres.
Trevor Road-east side: For a distance of 5 metres.
Located within the gap between the existing parking bays.
b) To introduce “No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm” restrictions (single yellow lines) at the following locations:
WARREN AVENUE – ACCESS ROAD TO UNITS 1–8 WARREN AVENUE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
West side:
From a point 3 metres north of the western kerbline of Warren Avenue, northwards to the northern extent of the adopted highway
East side:
From a point 3 metres north of the eastern kerbline of Warren Avenue, northwards for a distance of 3 metres.

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9260 6480.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
