What is happening?
THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (No.3) ORDER 2026
1. Portsmouth City Council hereby gives Notice that on the 26 June 2026 it made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 30 June 2026.
2. The effect of the Order will be:
A) TO REMOVE DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING BAYS (MINIMUM 5-METRE LENGTH) FROM THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
Only vehicles displaying a Blue Badge or relevant permit issued by the Council may park at the above locations.

4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
