What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WINDERMERE ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Windermere Road
in its entirety.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 8 July 2026 until 13 July 2026, between
the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Codsall Road, Pendeford Avenue
and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate remedial works by
Wolverhampton City Council Highway Maintenance.
