HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn Bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:
1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 13eg Gorffennaf 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 13eg Gorffennaf 2026 a’r 17eg Gorffennaf 2026.
2. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith yn ymwneud gyda chyfleustodau newydd mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.
3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o’r Stryd Fawr, Cas-gwent, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â Stryd y Banc i'r gyffordd â Sgwâr Beaufort.
4. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn:
Dargyfeiriad A: Stryd y Moor, Teras Hardwick, A48, Sgwâr Beaufort.
Dargyfeiriad B: A48, Sgwâr Beaufort, Stryd Ganol, Stryd Uchaf yr Eglwys, A48, Teras Hardwick, Stryd y Moor.
5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Y Stryd Fawr, Cas-gwent, Sir Fynwy 2026.
6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

(HIGH STREET, CHEPSTOW, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
1. The Order shall come into operation on the 13th July 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 13th July 2026 and 17th July 2026.
2. The order is necessary for works relating to new utility services to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of High Street, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Bank Street to its junction with Beaufort Square.
4. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:-
Diversion A: Moor Street,Hardwick Terrace, A48, Beaufort Square.
Diversion B: A48, Beaufort Square, Middle Street, Upper Church Street, A48, Hardwick Terrace, Moor Street.
5. This order may be cited as the High Street, Chepstow, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026
6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
