Redbridge - Multiple Notices – Proposed Waiting, Loading, Parking & Permit Restriction Changes
What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE
The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. **) Order 202*
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of The London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to:-
1. Introduce double yellow lines (no waiting at any time restrictions) in
(a) Brackley Square outside no. 54 Brackley Square,
(b) Broadmead Road outside nos. 2 to 10 Broadmead Road,
(c) Chigwell Road junction with Kelvedon Way (extension)
(d) Claremont Grove alongside no. 82 Snake Lane East to no. 9 Claremont Grove,
(e) Eastwood Road in front of rear access to nos. 12/12a The Shrubberies and no. 26 George Lane,
(f) Finchingfield Avenue at the junctions with Eyfield Road,
(g) Fyfield Road at the junctions with Finchingfield Avenue,
(h) Kenwood Gardens (E18) at the rear of Victoria Court,
(i) Monkham’s Lane opposite nos. 37 to 51 Monkham’s Lane,
(j) Oakland Place outside no. 14 Oakland Place,
(k) Vernon Avenue alongside no. 42 Broadmead Road and no.79 Horn Lane,
(l) Whitehall Road from the rear no. 1 The Hawthorns to the rear of no. 14 The Hawthorns, alongside Whitehall Lodge Bentley Way, opposite the rear property of nos. 4 to 6 The Hawthorns and outside no. 145 Elton Heights Whitehall Road,
(m) Whites Avenue around the cul-de-sac between nos. 29 and 34 Whites Avenue.
2. Introduce Permit Holders only (SW), operational 8:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, in Kenwood Gardens (South Woodford) at the rear of Victoria Court.
3. Introduce single yellow lines, operational 8:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday, in Kenwood Gardens (E18) at the rear of Victoria Court.
4. Introduce disabled parking bays (operational at all times) in Ray Lodge Road outside London Huaxia Christian Church.
5. Introduce no loading at any time restrictions on existing double yellow lines in: -
(a) Alders Close junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(b) Aldersbrook Road at the junctions with Park Road, Harpenden Road, Dover Road, Herongate Road, St Margaret’s Road, Empress Avenue, Merlin Road, opposite nos. 58 to 64, 67 to 72 and 89 to 95 Aldersbrook Road,
(c) Brading Crescent junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(d) Dover Road junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(e) Empress Avenue junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(f) Harpenden Road junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(g) Heatherwood Close junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(h) Herongate Road junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(i) Merlin Road junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(j) Park Road junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(k) Queenswood Gardens junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(l) Wanstead Park Avenue junction with Aldersbrook Road,
(m) St Margaret’s Road junction with Aldersbrook Road.
6. Convert existing shared use parking bays to new pay by phone only bays, 8:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday (max stay 3 hours), in
(a) Grosvenor Road (E11) outside nos. 1 and 3 Grosvenor Road, opposite no. 1 Grosvenor Road, outside Cedar Court, outside Grosvenor Court and outside St Davids Court and Louise Court
(b) Grove Park (E11) outside no. 5 Grove Park and opposite nos. 7 to 11 Grove Park,
(c) The Avenue alongside no. 8 Grove Park.
7. Amend the operating times of existing shared use and payment parking places to Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 6:30pm in Woodbine Place.
8. Introduce single yellow line, 8:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday, in Rose Avenue alongside no. 2 Thornwood Close (part removal of existing permit holder bay).
A copy of the Order, and other documents giving detailed particulars including map-based plans may be examined at: The Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, between 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made, either by completing the survey on the consultation webpage at: engage.redbridge.gov.uk/2026-p1 or by email to: parking.schemes@redbridge.gov.uk, or by writing to: Parking Team, 2nd Floor (front), Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
