ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14(1)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Trip Lane, Linton, Leeds 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for installation of telecoms apparatus, Leeds City Council today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Trip Lane, Linton, Leeds in the Harewood ward from outside Greystead property to Marchmont property. Pedestrians will be marshalled through the site as a diversionary route will not be feasible. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Friday 26th June 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 28th June 2026.

Millennium Square Events – 

4, 9, 10 ,11, 14, 15, 19 July 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public (holding of event at Millenium Square), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: Great George Str; between its junctions with Calverley St and Dudley Way 14:00 and 23:30 hrs each day; Cookridge St between junction with Great George St and Woodhouse Ln and Rossington Str; St Anne’s St; between its access to The Light Car Park and Cookridge St; The Laybys on Great George St (to the rear of the Town Hall) and in front of the Electric Press Building; except for production vehicles 06:00 and 23:00 each day; Portland Cr; from its jct with Woodhouse Ln (managed access only with no access south of Civic Hall car park entrance) (also closing Portland Gate and Cookridge St north of Vernon St by default). Portland Way; between its junctions with Woodhouse Ln and Calverley St; and Calverley St; between its junctions with Portland St and Portland Way (both emergency evacuation only). A diversionary route will be available via Calverley Street; Portland Way and Woodhouse Lane. To be effective between 16:00-23.30 hrs on 4, 9, 10, 11 July; and 18:0023:59 hrs on 14, 15 & 19 July; except as detailed before.
