Suffolk County Council intends to make an order suspending the bus lane on the B1075 Princes Street, Ipswich from Burrell Road to Chancery Road to facilitate water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 06/07/2026 - 10/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:
- A12 Station Road, Yoxford from the junction with the B1122 to the A1120.
- A12 Main Road, Yoxford from the junction with the B1122 for 195 metres eastbound.
- B1122 Middleton Road, Yoxford from the junction with the A12 for 246.64 metres southbound.
This is to facilitate construction of a roundabout. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
- Northbound: the A12, the A146, the A143, the A140, the A14 and vice versa.
- Southbound: the B1122, the B1069, the A1094, the A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/05/2026 - 11/05/2026 from 8pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF PROHIBITION OF ENTRY ON PART OF THE U5436 CROSSING ROAD AND THE C550 THE GREEN, PALGRAVE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
- The U5436 Crossing Road, Palgrave from Upper Rose Lane for 115 metres south eastbound.
- The C550 The Green, Palgrave from Upper Rose Lane to Forge Close.
This is to facilitate the installation of electricity cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
- Upper Rose Lane, Lion Road, the A143 and vice versa.
- Upper Rose Lane, Priory Road and vice versa.
For the duration of the phase 2 closure there will be a temporary suspension of the no entry Order on the C550 The Green, Palgrave at the junction with Priory Road to allow access and egress.
It is intended that these measures will operate from:

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF ST EDMUNDSBURY) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (MAP-BASED) ORDER 2019 (PARISH OF BURY ST EDMUNDS) (NORTHERN WAY) (U2530) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (VARIATION No.16) ORDER 202-
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, substitute revision 1 of Map Tile DT60 in place of revision 0 of the same Map Tile, into the above-named 2019 Order. The effect of this would be to:
Introduce a ‘No waiting at any time’ on:
- The South side of Northern Way (U2530), Bury St Edmunds, starting at a point 28.9m east of the centre of its junction with Chase Road (private) for a distance of 23m in an easterly direction.
Remove a ‘No waiting at any time’ on:
- The South side of Northern Way, (U2530), Bury St Edmunds, starting at a point 51.9m east of the centre of its junction with Chase Rd (private) for a distance of 7.6m.
Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; for emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services; and for fulfilling statutory duties. There are the usual exemptions for blue badge-holders.
