Temporary Closure Of Various Roads, Tincleton
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 15th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22nd July 2026.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of the order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Various Roads, Tincleton as listed:
[i] Blacksmiths Lane, Tincleton from junction with C59 to Tincleton Farm Access Road (in both directions);
[ii] Tincleton Farm Access Road, Tincleton from Blacksmiths Lane to junction with C59 (in both directions). Please note the closure will be in operation, as and when indicated by signs on site. Advanced warning signs will be placed on the road two weeks advance of the closure to indicate the exact dates the closure will affect the roads. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Various Roads, Tincleton as listed:
[i] Blacksmiths Lane, Tincleton from junction with C59 to Tincleton Farm Access Road (in both directions);
[ii] Tincleton Farm Access Road, Tincleton from Blacksmiths Lane to junction with C59 (in both directions). Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Traffic Management Order Various Roads, Moreton, Crossways, Warmwell & Owermoigne
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31st July 2026.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on B3390, Warmwell from Access Road leading to Warmwell Mill, Warmwell to Warmwell Cross Roundabout. Please note the closures will be in operation, as and when indicated by signs on site. Advanced warning signs will be placed on the road two weeks advance of the closure to indicate the exact dates the closure will affect the roads. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[ii] To impose a temporary speed restriction of 10mph to facilitate the use of a convoy working vehicle along Various Roads, Crossways, Warmwell and Owermoigne as listed:
[i] B3390, Crossways & Warmwell from Access Road leading to Warmwell Mill, Warmwell to a point 100 metres to the north of Redbridge Road (as indicated by signs on site);
[ii] A352, Warmwell & Owermoigne from Warmwell Cross Roundabout to a point approximately 370 metres to west of Tadnoll Mill Farm Road (as indicated by signs on site).
[iii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Various Roads, Crossways, Moreton & Owermoigne as listed:
[i] B3390, Crossways & Moreton from a point 100 metres to the north of Redbridge Road to Warmwell Cross Roundabout (as indicated by signs on site);
[ii] A352, Warmwell & Owermoigne from Warmwell Cross Roundabout to a point approximately 370 metres to west of Tadnoll Mill Farm Road (as indicated by signs on site). The County of Dorset, Various Roads, Dorset - 20mph and 30mph Speed Limit Orders 202*
Dorset Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The effect of the Orders will be to introduce 20mph and 30mph speed limits along sections of various roads in Abbotsbury, Bridport, Broadmayne, Burton Bradstock, Charminster, Leigh, Loders, Maiden Newton, Portesham, Warmwell and West Bay.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Slyers Lane, Waterston
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Slyers Lane, Waterston, from a point 120m north of the access to the Enterprise Park at Piddlehinton to a point approximately 2650 metres to the south. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6 July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 July 2026. Works will take place between 0900 and 1600.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out essential highway maintenance works.
The effect of this Order will be:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on Slyers Lane, Waterston from a point 120m north of the access to the Enterprise Park at Piddlehinton to a point approximately 2650 metres to the south
[2] To impose a temporary clearway on Slyers Lane, Waterston from a point 120m north of the access to the Enterprise Park at Piddlehinton to a point approximately 2650 metres to the south to prevent vehicles from stopping. Please note that any vehicle waiting in contravention of the temporary parking restrictions may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. If a vehicle has been removed, the owner must contact the Council's vehicle recovery contractor: Ashleywood Recovery Ltd, Bride Valley Recovery Ltd on 01305 889421.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Various Footpaths, East Knighton
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Footpaths, East Knighton as listed:
[i] SE27/25, East Knighton from grid reference SY 81179 85699 to grid reference SY 81334 85898;
[ii] SE27/4, East Knighton from grid reference SY 81179 85699 to grid reference SY 81331 85797.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 13th July 2026 for a period of 26 weeks, however it is anticipated it will be completed by 13th September 2026.
This closure is required to provide Wessex Water with safe access to replace the degrading water main under the public highway.

Temporary Closure of St Georges Road Cyclepath, Dorchester
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. All vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians & equine will be prohibited from proceeding along ST GEORGES ROAD CYCLEPATH, DORCHESTER for its entirety, a distance of approximately 120 metres. It will come into operation on 29 June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 September 2026.
This Order will enable CG Fry & Son, safe access for installation of foul and surface water drainage as part of the new Four Paddocks Development.
