What is happening?

Temporary Traffic Management Order, B3075, East Morden
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21st July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4th August 2026.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on: B3075, East Morden as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along B3075, East Morden.

All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along the Footpath E5/3, Bryanston, from grid reference ST878057 to grid reference ST882057, a distance of approximately 430 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It came into operation on 1 July 2024, but has been extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 1 January 2028 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
