PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2013 

(AMENDMENT NO. 29) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 to 39 and 45 to 55 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) to amend the “The Northamptonshire County Council (Various Roads, Daventry District) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2013” as specified in the Schedule below.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing WNCParkingenquiries@ kier.co.uk

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.

The Order will become effective on 29th June 2026.

High Street, Preston Capes – Opposite the junction with Old Forge Lane for a distance of 27 metres on the East kerb of the High Street. Nasmyth Road, Daventry – From the existing double yellow lines on the junction of Apex Park going south for 75 metres. From the existing double yellow lines on the junction of Apex Park going north for 54 metres, and from a point 92 metres north of the Apex Park junction for 58 metres. Spratton Road, Brixworth – From the junction of Brampton Way, going east for a distance of 50 metres. Harborough Road, Brixworth – From a point 38 metres west of the junction to Hill House, southwest for 21 metres. Hall Drive, Skin Yard Lane, Long Buckby – From the end of the existing double yellow lines on the west kerb of Hall Drive, for 11 metres west into Skin Yard Lane. From the drive of 11 Hall Drive, going southeast for 24 metres.

(SINGLE YELLOW LINES)

High March, Daventry – 66 metres north of the junction with York Way for 16 metres. 50 metres south of the junction with Hackwood Road for 16 metres.
