(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Yapton Road in Middleton-On-Sea from Elmer Road northwards to Sundale Lane.
The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 13 July 2026 and remain in force until 7 August 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Southwick: Farm Way and Hadrian Avenue)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close roads in Southwick as follows:
Farm Way: from Manor Hall Road southwards to Old Barn Way from 29 June 2026 to 16 July 2026 and Hadrian Avenue throughout its entire length from 1 September 2026 to 30 October 2026.
The road closure is needed to allow new electricity cables to be installed in safety.
Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
