What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

SAXELBY ROAD, OLD DALBY & OSTLER LANE, SAXELBY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 20 days to allow Callan Connect on behalf of City Fibre to undertake a cable duct installation work. The proposed diversion route will be via: Main St, Saxelby; Saxelbye Ln, Main St, Perkins Ln, Grimston; Six Hills Ln, Saxelby Rd, Old Dalby & vice versa.

MAIN STREET, MUSTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow BT Openreach to undertake ducting & cabling works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Main St, Church Ln, A52 & vice versa.

CANAL LANE, HARBY ROAD, STATHERN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 2026

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 27/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow AMCO on behalf of National Highways to undertaker repairs to a railway bridge in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

Canal Ln for approx. 100m from the Harby Rd Jct, Harby Rd for approx. 50m either side of the railway bridge – Stathern.

The Order will come into force on 09/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 7 days to allow Callan Connect on behalf of City Fibre to undertake cable & duct installations on the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Main St, Shoby; Loughborough Rd A6006, Saxelby Rd, Asfordby; From Saxelby Park Rd To Saxelby Rd, Main St, Grimston.

The Order will come into force on 08/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow C3 Construction Ltd to undertake carriageway surfacing work. The proposed diversion route will be via:

A607 Leicester Rd, Rotherby Top, Rotherby; Rotherby Rd, Main St, Great Ln, Frisby On The Wreake.

The Order will come into force on 06/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Watmough Forestry Ltd to undertake tree surgery works in the carriageway. The proposed diversion route will be via: From Gartree Hill Rd To Pickwell Ln, Gartree Hill Rd, Little Dalby; Little Dalby Rd, Woodgate Hill, Great Dalby; Melton Ln, Burrough On The Hill; Burrough Rd, Little Dalby & vice versa.
