(B7009 ETTRICKBRIDGE, SELKIRK) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (B7009 Ettrickbridge, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic

Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for BT Openreach works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B7009 at Newhousehaugh, Ettrickbridge, Selkirk. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B7009, B709, A708, B7039 and B7009 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

ST BOSWELLS)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C43 Thistleknowe,  St Boswells) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 3 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C43 at Thistleknowe Farm, St Boswells.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C43, B6359, A699, A68 and C43 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

(FOOTWAY – MARKET 

STREET, GALASHIELS) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Footway – Market Street, Galashiels) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of six months, will come into force at 08:00 on 29 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 2 July 2026 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required to carry out footway re-surfacing works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall walk or cycle along the footway at Market Street, Galashiels from Gala Lane towards Anderson Chambers on the southeast and southwest side of the carriageway. An alternative route will be signposted via opposite footway on Market Street as works will be done in phases. (C63 NEW MILL, JEDBURGH) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C63 New Mill, Jedburgh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 1 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT pole replacement works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C63 at New Mill, Jedburgh.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C63, A68 and C63 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

(MILL WYND, KELSO) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Mill Wynd, Kelso)

(Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:00 on 4 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 5 July 2026. The Order is required for Go Fibre civils works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Mill Wynd, Kelso.

The alternative westbound route for vehicles under

2.5T traffic is via Mill Wynd, The Square, Roxburgh Street, Duns Wynd and Peat Wynd to the point of closure, eastbound traffic is via Peat Wynd and Duns Wynd to the point of closure.
