Hysbysir drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd) a'r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, ac ar ôl ymgynghori â’r Prif Swyddog, Heddlu De Cymru, yn unol â Rhan III Atodlen 9 Deddf 1984, yn cynnig diwygio ‘Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Gwaharddiadau a Chyfyngiadau ar Stopio, Aros, Llwytho a Mannau Parcio ar y Stryd) (Cydgrynhoi) 2024’ (nodir rhifau’r diwygiadau yn yr Atodlenni isod) a sefydlu Mannau Parcio i Bobl Anabl ar y darnau o ffordd a nodir yn Atodlen 1 a dirymu’r Mannau Parcio i Bobl Anabl ar y darnau o ffordd a nodir yn Atodlen 2.

NEW TRAFFIC PROPOSALS
FOR THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF

Notice is hereby given that The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer, South Wales Police, in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the 1984 Act, proposes to amend ‘The County Council of The City and County of Cardiff (Prohibitions and Restrictions of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2024’ (the Amendment Nos. are stated in the Schedules below) and establish Disabled Persons’ Parking Places in the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 and revoke the Disabled Persons’ Parking Place in the length of road specified in Schedule 2.

Copies of the draft orders and plans showing the location and extent of the restrictions are available and you can obtain copies by sending an email request to roadtrafficorderobjections@cardiff.gov.uk or by making a written request to the address below.

Any objections and other representations you may have to any of the proposals must be submitted to me in writing, or via email to roadtrafficorderobjections@cardiff.gov.uk on or before midnight on the 16th July 2026 and must contain the grounds on which you object. Correspondence may be disclosed as required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Council welcomes correspondence in English and Welsh and we will ensure that we communicate with you in the language of your choice, whether that’s English, Welsh or bilingual as long as you let us know which you prefer. SCHEDULE 1
(AMENDMENT NO.93) ORDER 2026 – Richards Street on its south east side, from a point 33 metres north east of its junction with Basil Place for a distance (This proposal will reduce the length of the Limited Waiting parking) 

(AMENDMENT NO.96) ORDER 2026 – Alma Road on its north west side, from a point 17.5 metres south west of its junction with Sandringham Road for a distance of 6.6 metres south west

(AMENDMENT NO.94) ORDER 2026 - in the vicinity of 70 Hamilton Street (This proposal intends to reinstate resident permit holders only parking (between the hours of 8.00am and 10.00pm daily)

(AMENDMENT NO.95) ORDER 2026 – in the vicinity of 43 Pen Y Peel Road (This proposal intends to reinstate resident permit holders only parking (between the hours of 8.00am and 10.00pm daily)
