The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. **) Order 202

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to: -

  1. Introduce double yellow lines (no waiting at any time restrictions) in (a) Ambleside Gardens at the junctions with; Brentwood Gardens and Grasmere Gardens, (b) Bergholt Avenue junction with Falmouth Gardens, (c) Braintree Avenue at the junctions; Torquay Gardens and Keswick Gardens, (d) Brantwood Gardens at the junction with Ambleside Gardens, (e) Chadwell Heath Lane outside no. 41 Chadwell Heath Lane (replacing part of existing permit holder bay), (f) Clayhall Avenue at the junction of Peel Place (extension), outside nos. 198 & 200 Clayhall Avenue, (g) Coppice Path outside nos. 3, 4 and 17 to 25 Coppice Path, (h) Couchmore Avenue at the junction with The Glade, (i) Cranbrook Road outside nos. 630 to 638 Cranbrook Road, (j) Eton Road junction with Ivyford Road, (k) Fairfield Road outside no. 2 Fairfield Road and nos. 7 to 19 Fairfield Road, (l) Falmouth Gardens at the junctions with; Mighell Avenue, Bergholt Avenue and Fowey Avenue, (m) Fowey Avenue at the junction with Falmouth Gardens, (n) Genas Close outside nos. 76 to 84 Genas Close, (o) Grasmere Gardens at the junction with Ambleside Gardens, (p) Grange Road (IG1) at the junction with Grosvenor Road, (q) Green Lane opposite junction with South Park Drive, outside nos. 269 to 271b and nos. 340 to 350 Green Lane, (r) Grosvenor Road (IG1) at the junction with Grange Road, (s) Harewood Drive outside nos. 70 to 82 Harewood Drive, (t) Heathside Close outside nos. 48 & 49 Heathside Close and outsides nos. 32 & 38 Heathside Close, (u) Herent Drive at the junction with; Stradbroke Grove and Lessingham Avenue, (v) Hursley Road at the junction with The Lowe, (w) Kensington Drive at the junction with Summit Drive, (x) Keswick Gardens at the junctions with Braintree Avenue, (y) Lessingham Avenue at the junction with Herent Drive, (z) Longwood Gardens alongside no. 116 Beattyville Gardens and outside no. 136 Longwood Gardens, (aa) Mighell Avenue at the junction with Falmouth Gardens, (ab) Quebec Road alongside no. 78 Brisbane Road and alongside no. 80 Brisbane Road, (ac) Radley's Lane opposite no. 2 Radley's Lane (replacing part of existing permit holder bay), (ad) Redbridge Lane East outside nos. 53 to 67 Redbridge Lane East, (ae) Sommerville Road alongside no. 14 Eastern Avenue, (af) Roding Lane South outside nos. 44 & 46 Roding Lane South, (ag) Stalham Way around the end cul-de-sac, (ah) Stradbroke Grove at the junction with Herent Drive and Lessingham Avenue, (ai) Summit Drive at the junction with Kensington Drive, (aj) The Glade at the junction with; Wensleydale Avenue and Couchmore Avenue, (ak) The Lowe at the junction with Hursley Road, (al) Torquay Gardens at the junctions with Braintree Avenue, (am) Ivyford Road at the junction with Eton Road, (an) Vista Drive alongside nos. 42 and 44 Roding Lane South, (ao) Wensleydale Avenue at the junction with The Glade.

  2. Introduce No Stopping at any time except taxis in Thurlow Gardens (by the junction with New North Road).

  3. Remove existing permit parking bay and introduce a single yellow line, 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, outside no. 39 Barley Lane.

  4. Remove existing doctor parking bay outside no. 19 Castleton Road.

  5. Introduce no loading at any time restrictions on existing double yellow lines in (a) Evesham Way at the junction with Longwood Gardens, (b) Glenthorne Gardens at the junction with Longwood Gardens, (c) Longwood Gardens at the junctions with Evesham Way and Glenthorne Gardens.

    1. Convert existing Business permit holder bay to Resident permit holder bay (B zone) (no change to existing hours) in Melford Road alongside no. 82 Stanley Road.

    2. Remove single yellow line outside no. 13 Horace Road.

    3. Introduce single yellow line, 11am to 12pm, Monday to Friday, outside no. 11 Brancaster Road (replacing part of existing parking bay).

    4. Introduce car club bay (operational at all times) in Carlton Drive opposite no. 20 Carlton Drive.

    5. Introduce single yellow line, 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, in Park Avenue opposite nos. 33 to 45 Park Avenue (removal of existing pay by phone bays).

    6. Introduce pay by phone only bays, 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, (max stay 3 hours), in Park Avenue outside nos. 33 to 45 Park Avenue (removal of existing single yellow line).

    7. Convert existing loading only bays to new shared use bays, loading only (max stay 20mins) 8.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Sunday, pay by phone only (max stay 2 hours) 12.30pm to 6.30pm, Monday to Sunday, in (a) Dudley Road alongside no. 149 Ilford Lane, (b) Grange Road alongside no. 167 Ilford Lane, (c) Hampton Road alongside no. 235 Ilford Lane, (d) Hickling Road alongside no. 298 Ilford Lane, (e) Jersey Road adjacent to no.1 Jersey Road, (f) Kingston Road alongside no. 211 Ilford Lane, (g) Madras Road alongside no. 160 Ilford Lane, (h) Winsor Road alongside no. 187 Ilford Lane.

    8. Convert existing Goods vehicles loading (6am to 6pm) to Loading only (6am to 6pm) in Cranbrook Road outside Ilford Station (no change to taxis only 6pm to 6am).

    9. Introduce paid cashless parking place (max stay 2 hours) operating 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, in (a) Norfolk Road alongside nos. 48 and 50 Cameron Road, (b) Seven Kings Road outside no. 64 Seven Kings Road (removal of existing informal disabled bays).

    A copy of the Order, and other documents giving detailed particulars including map-based plans may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made, either by completing the survey on the consultation webpage at: engage.redbridge.gov.uk/2026-p1 or by email to: parking.schemes@redbridge.gov.uk or by writing to: Parking Team, 2nd Floor (front), Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
