What is happening?
City of Stoke-on-Trent (Traffic Regulation) (Various Provisions)(No.8) Order, 2026.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Stoke on Trent propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 51 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The effect of this Order is as follows:-
1.To provide a 30 min loading bay on Brierly St between points 10m and 23m from Ford Green Rd.
2.To prohibit loading/unloading on Sneyd Hill for 80m from Sneyd Hill Estate's northern entrance.
3.To prohibit the loading and waiting of vehicles at the junctions of Brentwood Gr/Nursery Ave and The Lea/ Meadowside Mon-Fri 8.30am-9,30am & 3pm-4pm
4.Introduce a stopping at Any time red route on both sides of Leek Rd from Bucknall Rd to Ivy House Rd
5.To introduce double yellow lines around the junctions of - Abbey Lane/Abbey Rd, Ashendene Gr/Ampthill Pl, Ashworth St/Smithpool Rd, Atholl Rd/Lennox Rd, Bankhouse Rd/Ivy Gr, Bemersely Rd/Whitfield Rd, Blurton Rd/St Margarets Gr, Blurton Rd/Whitaker Rd, Bramley Pl/ Greenwood Ave, Brierley
St/Ford Green Rd, Cumming St/Trafalgar Rd, Elder Rd/ Rushton Rd, London Rd/Flash Lane, Gladstone Pl/Munster Terr, Goms Mill Rd/Byatts Gr, Hareshaw Gr/Rainham Gr, Hawkins St/Napier St, Ivy Gr/Jubilee Rd, Knypersley Rd/ Whitfield Rd, Main St/East St, Main St/Bannock St, Napier St/Stewart St, Napier St/Ashworth St, Napier St/Edison St, Nursey Lane/Roundfields, Petersfield Rd/Farland Gr, Riverdale

6.To introduce double yellow lines on (i) Edward Ave for 20m from Brough Lane, (ii)Garden Place, (iii) Globe Street (truncated end), (iv) Hawkins St - North Side, (v) Napier Street - West Side (vi) Langley St - between points 21m and 26m fromKings Terrace, (vii) Ruthin Road outside No.38, (viii) Stone Rd(NE) btwn points 50m and 85m from Longton Rd. (ix)Chivelstone Grove - from Burrington Dr to Kersbrook Cl (x) Wilson Rd - on bothsides for 50m from Mayne St.
7.To prohibit parking Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 3pm-4pm at (i)Junction of Brentwood/Nursery Ave
(ii) Debenham Crescent o/s No.39
(iii) Junction of Parkside/The Lea
8.To prohibit parking Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 3pm-4pm at the junction of Meadowside/The Lea.
9.Introduce additional NH2 permit parking bays in Garden Place.
10. To revoke the provisions in so far as they are affected by the restrictions imposed by this Order.
