(Sinfin Lane Area) (Moving Vehicle Restriction) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.74) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Derby City Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act.
The purpose of the Orders is to introduce:
Proposed Revocation of Prohibition of Driving of Motor Vehicles except for authorised key holders
• Where Sinfin Lane crosses Infinity Park Way for a distance of 6 metres on the west side of Infinity Park Way.
Proposed revocation of Prohibition of Driving Motor Vehicles
• Sinfin Lane at a point approximately 200 metres on the west side of Infinity Park Way.
Proposed Prohibition of Driving Motor Vehicles (Except for Access).
• Sinfin Lane, from its junction with Lowes Lane for a distance of approximately 2 kilometres west to the southern boundary of number 401 Sinfin Lane
Access for pedestrians and cyclists from Pioneer Way will be maintained.
No Waiting (At Any Time)
• Sinfin Lane from its junction with Infinity Park Way on the western side for a distance of approximately 18 metres.
• Lowes Lane from its junction with Sinfin Lane for a distance of approximately 5 metres.
A copy of the proposed Order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the proposals, a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for proposing the Order and the Order being amended, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro
Objections to the proposals stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic & Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 17th July 2026.
