THE HAMPSHIRE (CHURCH ROAD AND NEW ROAD, SWANMORE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING & NO STOPPING ON SCHOOL ENTRANCE MARKINGS) (VARIATION No. 1) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 23rd June 2026, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: No Waiting at any time

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 4th August 2026 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
