HYN fod y Cyngor fel Awdurdod Priffyrdd Maesteg, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn a fydd yn cyflwyno'r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd gan fod angen lleihau’r terfyn cyflymder er mwyn darparu parth gwaith diogel yn ystod gwaith atgyweirio’r gerby􀆞fordd.Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 01/07/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu hyd nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 6 Gorffennaf 2026 a 10 Gorffennaf 2026. Atodlen-Ni chaiff neb beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar gyflymder o fwy na 30mya ar hyd yr A4063, Nichols Road, Goetre-hen i Heol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, Llangynwyd, o'i chyffordd â Mynedfa Ddeheuol Paper Mills hyd at Fynedfa Ogleddol Paper Mills am bellter o oddeutu 655 metr.Bydd eithriad i'r Gorchymyn yn berthnasol i gerbyd esempt yn unol â'r diffiniad isod.Yn yr Hysbysiad hwn ystyr "cerbyd esempt" yw:(a) unrhyw gerbyd sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio gan y gwasanaethau brys at y dibenion a ddisgrifir yn adran 87 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984;(b) unrhyw gerbyd sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio at ddibenion y llynges, defnydd milwrol neu'r awyrlu, ac sy'n cael ei yrru gan berson sydd am y tro yn ddarostyngedig i orchmynion aelod o luoedd arfog y Goron, sy'n aelod o'r lluoedd arbennig-(i) mewn ymateb, neu ar gyfer ymarfer wrth ymateb, i argyfwng diogelwch cenedlaethol gan berson sydd wedi'i hyfforddi i yrru ar gyflymder mawr: neu(ii) at ddibenion hyfforddi person i yrru cerbydau ar gyflymder mawr.“ystyr "lluoedd arbennig" yw'r unedau hynny o'r lluoedd arfog y mae cynnal eu galluoedd yn gyfrifoldeb i Gyfarwyddwr y Lluoedd Arbennig, neu sydd am y tro yn ddarostyngedig i orchymyn gweithredol y Cyfarwyddwr hwnnw.Bydd mynediad yn cael ei ddarparu trwy’r cyfyngiad ar gyfer yr Heddlu, y Gwasanaeth Tân a'r Gwasanaeth Ambiwlans sy'n ymateb i argyfyngau. BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (A4063 MAESTEG-PAPER MILLS (30MPH SPEED LIMIT)TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Maesteg in exercise of its powers under Sec􀆟on 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regula􀆟on Act 1984 (as amended) intends not less than 7 days from the date of this No􀆟ce to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restric􀆟on set out in the schedule below.The Order is in the interests of public safety as a reduced speed limit is required to provide safe working zone whilst carriageway patching is being undertaken. The Order will come into force on 01/07/2026 and will con􀆟nue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or un􀆟l such 􀆟me as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.It is an􀆟cipated that the planned works will be undertaken from 6th July 2026 to 10th July 2026. Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to be driven at a speed in excess of 30mph along A4063, Nichols Road Coytrahen to Bridgend Road Llangynwyd, from its junc􀆟on with Southern Entrance of Paper Mills to its Northern Entrance of Paper Mills for a distance of approximately 655 meters.An exemp􀆟on to the Order will apply to an exempted vehicle as defined below.In this No􀆟ce “exempted vehicle” means:(a) any vehicle being used by the emergency services for the purposes described in sec􀆟on 87 of the Road Traffic Regula􀆟on Act 1984;(b) any vehicle being used for naval, military or air force purposes, and being driven by a person for the 􀆟me being subject to the orders of the member of the armed forces of the Crown, who is a member of the special forces-(i) in response, or for prac􀆟ce in responding, to a na􀆟onal security emergency by a person who has been trained in driving at high speeds: or(ii) for the purposes of training a person in driving vehicles at high speeds.“special forces” means those units of the armed forces the maintenance of whose capabili􀆟es is the responsibility of the Director of Special Forces or which are for the 􀆟me being subject to the opera􀆟onal command of that Director.Access will be provided through the restric􀆟on for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all proper􀆟es within the restric􀆟on will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.Dated 26/06/2026
