The Brent (Waiting And Loading Restriction) - (Amendment No.*) Order 202* - The Brent (Parking Places) - (Zone HW) (Revocation No.*) Order 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Brent ("the Council") propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the ‘Waiting and Loading Restriction’ Order would be to extend the operational hours of the existing waiting restrictions in Longstone Avenue, the east side, between 11 metres north of Nos. 128 and 130 Longstone Avenue and Nos. 132 and 134 Longstone Avenue, operating from ‘between 8:00am and 6:30pm on Mondays to Saturdays’ to ‘at any time’.
3. The general effect of the parking places order would be to revoke a zone HW permit holders only parking place in Longstone Avenue, the north-east side, from a point opposite the northern boundary of No. 130 Longstone Avenue to a point 21.5 metres north of a point opposite that boundary.
4. Further notice is hereby given that the Council, under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, have approved the provision of parallel pedestrian and cycle crossing in Longstone Avenue, on the raised table referred to in paragraph 3(a) preceding, having a length of 12 metres, with its centre line at a point 12 metres north-west of a point opposite the north-eastern boundary of No. 130 Longstone Avenue.
The ‘controlled area’ in which waiting and loading is prohibited at all times, would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossings.
5. Further notice is hereby given that the Council propose to remove the existing 25 metre long "school keep clear" zone markings between Nos. 130 and 132 Longstone Avenue.
6. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans indicating the proposals can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at: Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

8. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposals or to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to: trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to: The Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/153/GD, to arrive not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
