THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(NELSON AVENUE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Nelson Avenue from its
junction with Hadley Road. Access/egress to frontages to
be maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 29 June 2026 until 10 July 2026, between
the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing
works by City of Wolverhampton Council.
