Shropshire Council proposes to introduce a 20mph speed limit onto the following lengths of roads in Shrewsbury:
Horsefair
In its entirety
Abbey Foregate
From its junction with Whitehall Street in a westerly and then south-westerly direction for a distance of 230 metres
Railway Lane
In its entirety
Railway Terrace
In its entirety
Portobello
In its entirety
Any existing speed limits on these lengths of roads will be revoked.

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (ABBEY FOREGATE, SHREWSBURY)
(AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to make the following changes to the parking restrictions on Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury:
Restricted Parking Zone No Waiting or Loading at Any Time
Except in Signed Bays
Abbey Foregate Loop Road
(Both
sides)
From its junction with Whitehall Street in a westerly then south- westerly direction for a distance of
230 metres.
Loading Only
Abbey Foregate Loop Road
(South side)
From its junction with Railway Lane for a distance of 14 metres in a south-westerly direction.
Disabled Badge Holders Only
Abbey Foregate Loop Road
(South side)
From a point 30.5 metres north-east of the extended north-eastern kerb line of Railway Lane in a north- easterly direction for a distance of 21 metres.
Limited Waiting Mon-Sat, 8am-6.30pm, 3 hours No Return Within 3 Hours
Abbey Foregate Loop Road
(South and West side)
From a point 51.5 metres north-east of the extended north-eastern kerb line of Railway Lane in a north- easterly, easterly and then southerly direction to a point 14 metres north of its eastern-most junction with Abbey Foregate.
No Waiting at Any Time
Abbey Foregate Loop Road
(East side)
From its junction with Whitehall Street to its eastern-most junction with Abbey Foregate.
Any existing parking restrictions at the above locations will be revoked.
