Nottinghamshire - Multiple Road Traffic Notices

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, ARNOLD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026 (G26-109)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Arnold in the Borough of Gedling. 

The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:

a. CROSS STREET, ARNOLD - From its junction with High Street for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction.

b. CHAPEL LANE, ARNOLD - For its entirety

2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading in the following length of road at Arnold in the Borough of Gedling :-

a. Bond Street, Arnold (Both Sides) (At Any Time) - For its entirety

3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required. 

4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:30 hours, Monday, 13th July 2026
Until 18:00 hours, Friday 7th August 2026 inclusive.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:

The Order will come into force on Monday 13th July 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable Cadent Gas Ltd to carry out works to do gas mains replacement;
