(FOOTPATH NO. 250007 IN THE PARISH OF SEATON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Order (“the Order”) made by Cumberland Council on 27 January 2026, which became operative on 30 January 2026, because of the likelihood of danger to the public and which would otherwise expire on 30 July 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 30 July 2027.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along an approx. 680 metre length of Public Footpath No. 250007 in the Parish of Seaton between grid references 302493 530459 and 302161 529896.
There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians.
