TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH EASTWICK & GILSTON 009
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Eastwick & Gilston 009, from junction with Eastwick Hall Lane to footpath 008, for an approximate distance of 1400m.
Alternative Route: via Ewastwick Hall Lane then along Eastwick & Gilston Footpath 008 The purpose of the Order is to enable utility works to take place.
The section of Footpath Eastwick & Gilston 009 will be closed on or after 06 July 2026 for up to 8 weeks, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C10 (UNNAMED ROAD), BRENT PELHAM) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C10 (unnamed road), Brent Pelham from its junction with Anstey Road north eastwards to its junction with Brent Pelham and Meesden Public Bridleway No.001, a distance of approximately 250m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via C10 (unnamed road), B1038 (Conduit Lane/unnamed road), B1368 (unnamed road), Lincoln Hill, C11 (unnamed road), Mill Lane and C10 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing telegraph pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 6 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months.
The works are scheduled to take 2 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Patient End, Furneux Pelham from a point 90m south west of its junction with The Causeway south westwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Patient End, C35 (unnamed road), C15 (unnamed road), Gravesend, Clapgate, Aldbury Road, Standon Road, A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road/ Kents Lane), Station Road, High Street, Buntingford Road, B1368 (Wickham Hill/Station Road), Ford Street, The Street, Pelham Road, Braughing Road and Patient End.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing telegraph pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 7 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U42 (unnamed road), Green Tye from its junction with B1004 Great Hadham Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 167m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B1004 Great Hadham Road, 3U42 (unnamed road), Aerodrome Road and B1004 Great Hadham Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 7 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A1184 London Road, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A1184 (London Road/Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way/ Bishops Park Way), A120 (Hadham Road/Little Hadham Bypass/Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill), A10 Wadesmill Bypass, A1170 (Wadesmill Road/Baldock Street/High Street/Bridge Foot/Viaduct Road/London Road/Amwell Hill/ Pepper Hill), A414 (Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue/ Edinburgh Way) and A1184 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/London Road).
The Order is needed because gas works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 6 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months.
The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON A120 BISHOPS STORTFORD BYPASS,
BISHOPS STORTFORD AND A120 LITTLE HADHAM BYPASS, LITTLE HADHAM) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A120 Bishops Stortford Bypass, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the A1250 Hadham Road/A1184 Bishops Park Way roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 3520m.
An alternative route will be via A1250 (Hadham Road/Link Road/The Causeway/Hockerill Street/ Dunmow Road) and A120 Bishops Stortford Bypass.
2. that length of A120 Little Hadham Bypass, Little Hadham from its junction with the A120 Standon Road roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with the A120 Hadham Road
roundabout, a distance of approximately 3846m.
An alternative route will be via A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill), A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road/Amwell Link Road), A414 (Eastwick Road/ Fifth Avenue/ Edinburgh Way), A1184 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/London Road/Cambridge Road/ London Road/St James Way/Bishops Park Way) and A120 Hadham Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect on 22 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months.
The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
