THE ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (U093 DUCHESS DRIVE, HELENSBURGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

On Monday the Fifteenth of June 2026, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for a temporary period for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on that section of Duchess Drive, Helensburgh, from a point in line with the northern boundary line of number 7 Duchess Drive to a point in line with the southern boundary line of number 10 Duchess Drive, a distance of 75 metres or thereby. Exceptions apply to any vehicle being used for carrying out the works. Local access will be maintained to either side of the road closure, but not through the closure.

This Order which is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road will be effective when indicated by signs from 0001 hours on the 13th of July 2026 to 2359 hours on the 17th of July 2026 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier.

Alternative routes will be via adjacent streets (Queen Street – Suffolk Street – Barclay Drive – Macleod Drive et vice versa) and will be signed in an appropriate manner.
