NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8294 Argyle Terrace Hexham from its junction with U8294 The Ropery heading in a south easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd July 2026 until the 31st July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 23rd July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 21:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8294, B6305, A695 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, intends to make the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, if made, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by extending the ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on sections of Dukes Way in Prudhoe.
The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8285 Paddock Wood Prudhoe from its point with the front of 35 Paddock Wood heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 30th June 2026 until the 10th July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 30th June 2026 until the 1st July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

C275 DIPTON HOUSE JUNCTION TO RIDING MILL
RIDING MILL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C275 Dipton House Junction To Riding Mill from its junction with A695 Farnley Oaks To Riding Mill heading in a westwards direction for a distance of 410 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 13th July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 6th July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A695, B6307, B6306, C275 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6529 Middle Street from its point with the front of 9 Middle Street heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 35 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th July 2026 until the 16th July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 9th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 & 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6321, U8187, and B6529 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:
U8171 Acomb Junction To Fallowfield from its junction with A6079 Acomb Village heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 225 metres.
U8177 Anick Junction To U8177 Junction from its junction with U8177 Acomb Junction To Fallowfield heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 510 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2026 until the 18th December 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st July 2026 until the 25th September 2026 the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 18th December 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8171, C238, A6079, A69, U8176, U8177 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

RUN NORTHUMBERLAND HEXHAM 5K & 10K
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16A
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council (“the Council”), in exercise of its powers as the local traffic authority under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers, has on the 17 June 2026 made the Northumberland County Council Run Northumberland Hexham 5k & 10k Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026 (“the TTRO”).
The Council has made the TTRO for the purposes of facilitating the holding of Run Northumberland Hexham 5k & 10k (“the Event”) by prohibiting traffic on the C242 Bridge End from the entrance to beaufront business park to its junction with the u8184 bankfoot junction to road end for 635 metres and the c242 Corchester Lane for its entire length (“the Road”).
The TTRO shall come into force at 09:45 Hours on 19 July 2026 and will remain in force until 1:30 Hours on 19 July 2026, subject to the provisions of section 16B of the Act.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being the C242, the A6079, the C239, the U8174, the U8186, the A68, the B6529 and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.
Nothing in the TTRO shall apply to:
a. Any activities taking place on the Road related to the organisation and holding of the Event;
b. Anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police officer or a Duly Authorised Officer of the Council.
c. Any vehicle being used by, or for the purposes of, the emergency services;
d. Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the Road); or
e. Pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Chollerton Public Footpath Number 18, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Chollerton Public Footpath No 18
From a point on the eastern side of the River North Tyne, 260 metres south-east of Barrasford Mill, in a general south-easterly direction, for a distance of 260 metres, following the eastern bank of the River North Tyne, to a point adjacent to the east of the Pumping Station.
There is an alternative route available from a point on the eastern side of the River North Tyne, 260 metres south-east of Barrasford Mill, in a general south-easterly direction, for a distance of 150 metres, following the verge on the northern side of the track following the eastern bank of the River North Tyne, then in a north east direction, for a distance of 70 metres, then in an easterly direction, for a distance of 80 metres and then in a southerly direction, for a distance of 100 metres, to a point adjacent to the east of the Pumping Station.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2026 until the 1st January 2027.
