What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 22/06/2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Bonella Street, Carnoustie)(Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that works may be undertaken on behalf of Scottish Water. The Order will come into force on 30/06/26, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of eight days. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit all vehicular traffic from driving and waiting in or on Bonnella Street, Carnoustie from its junction with High Street (A930) in a southerly direction for a distance of 45 metres or thereby. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via High Street (A930), Park Avenue and Park Avenue Car Park.
