(DOB LANE, SOWERBY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dob Lane from its junction with Well Head Lane to junction of Carr Lane for a distance of approximately 160 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained top closure point. The alternative route is via Higham and Dob Lane, Steep Lane, High Stones Road, Folly Hall Lane, New Road, Sykes Gate, B6138 Blackstone Edge Road, B6138 Turvin Road, A58 Rochdale Road, Halifax Road, Rochdale Road, West Street, Sowerby Street, Sowerby New Road, Stocks Lane, Towngate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(GIBBET STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Clearview Services Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Gibbet Street from its junction with Albert Street to Cromwell Terrace for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Lightowler Road, Hanson Lane, Albert Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th June 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(PARK ROAD, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Park Road from its junction with Victoria Road to No. 16 for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Oak Avenue, Cowhurst Avenue, Cross Lee Road, Burnley Road, Victoria Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(QUEENS ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Queens Road from its junction with Parkinson Lane to Lombard Street for a distance of approximately 235 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. Rolling lane closure – one way access from Parkinson Lane only then changing to full road closure from Thorn Street to Lombard Street. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Queens Road, Aachen Way, Burnley Road, Warley Road, Dunkirk Lane, Parkinson Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th August 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SALTONSTALL LANE, WAINSTALLS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Saltonstall Lane from its junction with Bank House Lane to Ridings Barn for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route – access for residents only. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(WIDDOP ROAD, HEPTONSTALL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Widdop Road from National Trust Car Park to New Greenwood Farm for a distance of approximately 161 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Widdop Road, Ridehalgh Lane, Halifax Lane, Burnley Road, Birchcliffe Road, Eastern Avenue, Queen Victoria Road, Queens Park Road, Ridge Avenue, Bradshaw Road, Red Lees Road, The Long Causeway, Kebs Road, The Long Causeway, Causeway Fold, Old Shaw Lane, New Shaw Lane, Old Shaw Lane, Smithy Lane, Edge Hey Green, Slack Bottom. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th June 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 05:00.

(DYSON LANE, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dyson Lane from 14 Dyson Lane to Side of No. 2 Ryburn View for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Oldham Road, A58 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(NEW ROAD, MANKINHOLES)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by EON Lighting and Grid have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road from its junction with Shaw Wood Road to Shaw Farm Equestrian Centre for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Shaw Wood Road, Halifax Road, Woodhouse Road, Oldroyd Road, Causeway Wood Road, Lumbutts Road, Mankinholes Bank, Cross Lane, New Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30h June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(GLEN VIEW ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Dutton TM have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Glen View Road from its junction with Savile Road to Green House Lane for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via A646, Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road, Smithy Lane, New Shaw Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 17:00.

(SHROGGS ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Shroggs Road from its junction with Ovenden Road to 110m beyond B & Q roundabout for a distance of approximately 280 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Ovenden Road, Ovenden Way, Wheatley Lane, Wheatley Road, Shroggs Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 3rd July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 06:00.

(AYSGARTH AVENUE, LIGHTCLIFFE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Aysgarth Avenue from No. 16 to No. 11 for a distance of approximately 35 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Fairless Avenue, Nunlea Royd, Bentley Avenue and vice versa. Resident Access will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17thJuly 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BRIER HEY LANE, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brier Hey Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to The Briers for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14thJuly 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BRIDLEWAY TODMORDEN 009, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport has given a direction under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act that the Borough Council of Calderdale (Bridleway Todmorden 009, Todmorden) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 (the “Order”) shall continue in force for a further period from the date it would have otherwise expired. The Order was made on 27 November 2024 for safety reasons (a bridleway). It came into force on 13 December 2024 and its effect is that no person shall proceed in the length of Bridleway Todmorden 009 from Point A to Point B (as per map on site) for a distance of approximately 137 metres. Had the direction not been given, the Order would have expired on 13 June 2026. It will now remain in force until either 13 December 2026 or the completion of the works, whichever is the sooner. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period. The prohibition does not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the bridleway. For alternative route see map on site.

(CHURCH STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Roadway UK Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Street from its junction with Horton Street to Prescott Street roundabout for a distance of approximately 180 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Horton Street, Union Street, Prescott Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.

(NORLAND TOWN ROAD, NORLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Norland Town Road from its junction with London Road to Lower Old Hall Farm for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Berry Moor Road, Sowerby Croft Lane, Spark House Lane, London Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00.

(SADDLEWORTH ROAD, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Saddleworth Road from Barsey Farm to Branch Road for a distance of approximately 208 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Stainland Road, Branch Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Westercroft Lane from No. 30 to No. 51 for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hathershelf Lane from its junction with Scout Road to The Long Causeway for a distance of approximately 890 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Sowerby Lane, Clunters Lane, Ringstone Hill Lane, The Long Causeway and vice versa.
