THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (A7, SHERIFFHALL TO NEWTONGRANGE)

(30 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026   - TO/R5.3.187

Midlothian Council on 22 June 2026 Made the above Order, which will come into force on 27 July 2026. The effect is to reduce speed limits on sections of the A7 road and link roads between the A720 Sheriffhall Roundabout and Newtongrange from 60 mph and 40 mph to 30 mph.

Details may be examined from 25 June to 3 August 2026 at Libraries, at TellMeScotland@gov.uk or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk . Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order or its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of such Act or of any relevant regulation has not been complied with, may within six weeks from 22 June 2026 apply for this purpose to the Court of Session.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS)

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_ - TO/R5.3.193

The Council proposes to apply double yellow line waiting restrictions at both junctions of Park Crescent with Dobbie’s Road in Bonnyrigg.
