Notification of Road Closure for Special Event

Notice is hereby given that Fermanagh and Omagh District Council using powers under Article 8A of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to temporarily restrict or prohibit vehicles using the following roads on the dates indicated for the event listed:

Lisnaskea 5km Run & Walk

Date & Time – Friday 28th August –

(1900hrs to 2000hrs)

Roads to be closed/disrupted: Nutfield Road from St Kevins College to Main Roundabout adjacent to Lidl and onto junction at Castle Lane. Castle Lane & Lisnaskea Road to Emmett Park. Killypaddy Road to Castlelane Junction & Main Street, Lisnaskea from the junction at Castle Lane to the junction at Church Lane.

Applicant: Lisnaskea Emmett’s GAC

Alternative routes will be signed.

A copy of the road closure request application form and route and diversion maps may be inspected in person during normal office hours at the following address: County Buildings, 15 East Bridge Street, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, BT74 7BW.

Written representations may be sent to the above address or may be e-mailed to licensing@fermanaghomagh.com by 5pm on 16th July 2026; representations received after this will not be considered.
