What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
GREEN LANES, PALMERSTON CRESCENT N13
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 7 July 2026 for 2 months or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to;
Palmerston Crescent
- Close this road at its junction with Green Lanes N13 for approximately 20m.
Green Lanes
- To suspend parking between its junction with Broomfield Lane and Ecclesbourne Gardens on both sides of the road; and
Cycle Lane Closures
- suspend the northbound and southbound cycle lanes between Broomfield Lane and Ecclesbourne Gardens.
ST EDMUNDS ROAD N9
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 7 July 2026 for 4 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road between No.s 141/143-157/159
HERTFORD ROAD, ST ALPHEGE ROAD N9
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 7 July 2026 for 2 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to;
Hertford Road
- Close the northbound cycle lane between No.s 458-454; and
St Alphege Road
- Suspend parking, south side from its junction with Hertford Road approximately 40m to outside No 1 Dawson Terrace.
AYLANDS ROAD EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 8 July 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road between No.s 18/20 – No.s 36/38, on both sides of the road.
SOUTH STREET EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“Between 09:30 to 15:00hrs” on 4 July 2026, for 8 days until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking between No. 74 and approximately 4m east of No. 80.
