ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14
(TITHE BARN STREET, HORBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 196) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for works to install a new Openreach pole to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Tithe Barn Street, Horbury at the side of number 17 Bank Street. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Tithe Barn Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: High Street, New Road, New Street, Church Street, Northgate (one way) and Queen Street, High Street, Tithe Barn Street (other way).

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2026 at 08.00 hours to 2nd July 2026 at 17.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
