Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2026

Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, are satisfied that the execution of these works will take longer than the standard 18 months length of the order and in exercise of powers conferred by section 15(2) of the same act, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable special events to take place, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will enable the short closure to vehicular traffic, when required by the Metropolitan Police Service of the roads in Schedule One to this Order between 8am to 3pm, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic at 9:45am and 1pm by the Metropolitan Police Service of the following:
Walton Street junction with Gravel Hill/Erith Road/Broadway, Bexleyheath
Broadway junction with Highland Road, Bexleyheath
Arnsberg Way junction with Mayplace Road West, Bexleyheath
Broadway junction with Arnsberg Way, Bexleyheath
Broadway at the entrance/exit to Christ Church, Bexleyheath
Erith Road, Bexleyheath
- No waiting and no loading (parking restrictions) between 8am and 3pm as detailed in schedule one of this order.
- The Order will come into effect on 28 June 2026 and is valid for an indefinite period. However, the works are expected to be ongoing, this Order shall be revoked according to Section 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- Whilst the works are in progress no alternative route will be available to use.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2026
Blendon Road, Bexley
Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) from outside 141 up to the roundabout at the junction with Kestlake Road, Bexley
- No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) from outside 141 up to the roundabout at the junction with Kestlake Road, Bexley
- The Order will come into effect on 2 July 26 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 Days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
- Danson Underpass, Danson Road, Crook Log, Broadway, Albion Road, Townley Road, Arbuthnot Lane, Brigen Road, Blendon Road and reverse
- Danson Underpass, Lodge Lane, A2 Eastbound, A2 off Slip, Bourne Road, Southwold Road, A2 Westbound, Riefield Road, Rochester Way, Welling Way, Bellegrove Road, Welling High Street, Park View Road, Crook Log, Broadway, Albion Road, Townley Road, Arbuthnot Lane, Brigen Road, Blendon Road
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned footpath, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an Order has been made, to enable Centurion Traffic Management on behalf of Network Rail to undertake the examination of the railway bridge in Station Road, Sidcup, the effects of which will be to close the subways (pedestrian walkways) in Station Road outside and opposite Enroute Coffee Shop.
- The Order will come into effect on 1 July 2026 and is valid for a period of 6 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days (overnight) from 2200 to 0600.
- Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative crossing point will be available for pedestrians.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, to emergency service personnel or to persons undertaking the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
