THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

PUBLIC NOTICE - The Bromley (Waiting And Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. ***) Order 202* - Ash Grove, Bourdon Road And Elmers End Road, Penge T800

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to extend no waiting 'at any time' restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, plans and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference: - ADE (TYP/MM/SFT800 no later than 15th July 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE - WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting ‘At Any Time’:

Ash Grove, Penge
(a) the north-west side
(i) from its junction with Elmers End Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 12.5 metres.

(b) the south-east side
(i) its junction with Elmers End Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 13.5 metres.

Bourdon Road, Penge
(a) the north-west side
(i) from its junction with Elmers End Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 19.5 metres.

(b) the south-west side
(i) from its junction with Elmers End Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 17 Metres.

Elmers End Road, Beckenham
(a) the south-west side
(i) from a point 21.5 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of Bourdon Road in a south-easterly direction to a point 21.5 metres south-east of the south-western kerbline of Bourdon Road.

(b) the north-east side
(i) from a point 34.5 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of Ash Grove in a south-easterly direction to a point 21.5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb line of Ash Grove.
