Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
Crowland Road, Eye Green                                                             
Ref: 27-115

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Crowland Road, Eye Green, at Turves Farm. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Crowland Road, Thorney Road, A16, A47, Crowland Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 30/06/2026 and will continue until the overhead cabling works have been completed or until the 29/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 30/06/2026 between 09:30 and 15:00.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Footpaths around
Bakers Lane, The Dell, Gordon Avenue, Huntley Road and London Road 2026                  
Ref: 27-116

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Footpaths around Bakers Lane, The Dell, Gordon Avenue, Huntley Road and London Road, as lies between 76, 79 and 80 The Dell. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: 28 Gordon Avenue, 72, 53, 57, 82 The Dell and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on the 02/07/2026 and will continue until the new ducting works have been completed or until the 01/01/2027, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 02/07/2026.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
Cherry Orton Road                                                                            Ref: 27-089

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Cherry Orton Road, as lies between the junction with Chapel Lane and a point 30m to the south. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Church Drive, Lady Lodge Drive, Charles Cope Road, The Gannocks, Chapel Lane and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 30/06/2026 and will continue until the planned gas works have been completed or until the 29/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 30/06/2026 and the 03/07/2026.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
Unnamed access road to Tanholt Cottages                                 Ref: 27-090

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Unnamed access road to Tanholt Cottages, from the junction with Eyebury Road for approximately 40m. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/06/2026 and will continue until the telegraph pole replacement works have been completed or until the 28/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between on the 29/06/2026 only.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
A47 Soke Parkway                                                                             Ref: 27-091

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as A47 Soke parkway, at roundabout 19. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A47, Fulbridge Road, Topmoor Way. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/06/2026 and will continue until the survey works have been completed or until the 28/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 29/06/2026 and the 04/07/2026.

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
Various Roads – Peterborough Station Quarter                         Ref: 27-040

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the roads and footpaths detailed in the schedule below:

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads and footpaths. The alternative routes for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 05/07/2026 and will continue until the Peterborough Station Quarter improvement works have been completed or until the 04/01/2028, whichever is the earlier.

Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 05/07/2026 and 17/05/2027.

The City of Peterborough, Upton Road (Sutton) and Peterborough Road (Ailsworth), Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions)
Act 1991, (Temporary Restriction of Through Traffic) Notice 27-117 2026       Ref: 27-117

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as Upton Road (Sutton) and Peterborough Road (Ailsworth), as per the below schedule.

There are no properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the A47. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. This notice is made in the interest of enabling resurfacing of Sutton roundabout (A47) works and will remain effective for no more than 5 nights from 30/06/2026. Works are expected to take place overnight only from 20:00 to 06:00 for 5 nights. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
