(MODIFIED) DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
(LEEDS METROPOLITAN DISTRICT)
(COMPTON LANE, MOOR LANE AND DALTON LANE) MODIFICATION ORDER 2022
The above Order was confirmed by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on 27 May 2026. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding three bridleways and upgrading two footpaths to bridleway as described in the schedule below and as shown on the Order Map.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen at Parks and Countryside Reception, Farnley Hall, Hall Lane, Farnley, LS12 5HA, (Reference 167111), from 9.00 am to 4.00pm on Monday to Friday and also at Boston Spa Library, High Street, Boston Spa, LS23 6BH during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and Order Map may also be viewed online www.leeds.gov.uk/PROWorders or obtained by emailing prow@leeds.gov.uk or calling 0113 3782875.
The Order comes into force from the date upon which it is confirmed but if any person aggrieved by the Order requires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or 54 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or that of any of the requirements of Schedule 15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from today make an application to the High Court.
Bridleways to be added
Collingham Bridleway No. 12 Moor Lane commencing from a point, SE 4072 4564, at the junction with the southern end of the existing section of Collingham Bridleway No. 12 at West Woods Road, and proceeding for a distance of 773 metres to a point, SE 4062 4491, at the junction with Collingham Footpath No. 14
Collingham Bridleway No. 13 Dalton Lane commencing from a point, SE 4061 4490, at the junction with Collingham Bridleway No. 12 Moor Lane, and proceeding for a distance of 420 metres to a point, SE 4041 4453, at the junction with Collingham Bridleway No. 13
Collingham Bridleway No. 26 Compton Lane commencing from a point, SE 3932 4496, at the junction with Compton Lane, and proceeding for a distance of 97 metres to a point, SE 3940 4492, at the junction with Collingham Footpath No. 9
Footpaths to be Upgraded
Collingham Footpath No. 14 to be upgraded to Collingham Bridleway No. 12 known as Moor Lane commencing from a
point, SE 4062 4491, at the junction with Collingham Footpath No. 14, and proceeding for a distance of 148 metres to a point, SE 4047 4486, at the junction with Collingham Bridleway No. 26 Compton Lane.
Part of Collingham Footpath Nos. 9 and 14 to be upgraded to Collingham Bridleway No. 26 known as Compton Lane commencing from a point, SE 3940 4492, at the junction with Collingham Footpath No. 9, and proceeding for a distance of
1,179 metres to a point, SE 4047 4486, at the junction with
Collingham Bridleway No. 12 Moor Lane
