Bydd y Gorchymyn uchod, a wnaed ar 17 Mehefin 2026, o dan adran 118 o Ddeddf Priffyrdd 1980, yn dileu y llwybr troed sy’n cychwyn wrth gyfeirnod grid SO04780614 (ger Canolfan Siopa Santes Tudful) ac yn mynd i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogleddddwyrain am oddeutu 60 metr hyd at ei bwynt terfynu yng nghyfeirnod grid SO 0479 0620 (ger Stryd y Castell).
Gellir gweld copi o’r Gorchymyn a map y Gorchymyn trwy gysylltu â ROF@merthyr.gov.uk. Gellir prynu copïau o’r gorchymyn a’r map am £10.
Rhaid anfon unrhyw gynrychiolaeth neu wrthwynebiad i’r Gorchymyn yn ysgrifenedig at y llofnodwr isod erbyn 24 Gorffennaf 2026. Nodwch ar ba sail ar y maent yn cael eu gwneud.
Os na wneir unrhyw sylwadau neu wrthwynebiadau perthnasol neu os tynnir unrhyw un a wnaed yn ôl, caiff Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Merthyr Tudful gadarnhau’r Gorchymyn fel gorchymyn heb wrthwynebiad. Os cyflwynir y Gorchymyn i Lywodraeth Cymru i’w gadarnhau, anfonir unrhyw sylwadau neu wrthwynebiadau nad ydynt wedi’u tynnu’n ôl gyda’r Gorchymyn.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
TOWN 20 EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 17th June 2026, under section 118 Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the footpath that commences at grid reference SO04780614 (near the St Tydfil Shopping Centre) and proceeds in a general north-easterly direction for approximately 60 metres to its termination point at grid reference SO 0479 0620 (near Castle Street).
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen by contacting ROF@merthyr.gov.uk. Copies of the order and map may be bought at the price of £10.
Any representation or objection to the Order must be sent in writing to the undersigned by 24th July 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the Order is submitted to the National Assembly for Wales for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
