Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 25th June 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 (PART), OLNEY) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2409)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along A509, Olney (from a point 75 metres south-west of its junction with Lime Street, Olney, continuing for a distance of 450 metres in a south-westerly direction) at a speed in excess of 30mph, whilst the Olney Riverfest Event takes place, because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
The temporary 30mph speed restriction will be in effect from 11.30am to 2.30pm on Sunday 5th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ST DUNSTANS (PART), COFFEE HALL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2391)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
St Dunstans, Coffee Hall – from Lloyds to Hamlins.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Lloyds, Rochfords and Chapter (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect from 6th – 8th July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LAMBOURN COURT (PART), EMERSON VALLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2408)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Lambourn Court, Emerson Valley- from number 2 to number 6.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 6th – 9th July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (TAVELHURST, TWO MILE ASH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2406)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Tavelhurst, Two Mile Ash – from number 10 to number 14.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 7th – 10th July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CARLINA PLACE (PART), CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2427)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Carlina Place, Conniburrow – from Conniburrow Boulevard to outside numbers 11 and 12.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Conniburrow Boulevard, Cranesbill Place or Coltsfoot Place and Cleavers Avenue (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect from 7th – 9th July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CROWNHILL ROUNDABOUT, CROWNHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2435)
This order is to allow Hutchinson 3G to undertake maintenance works to telecoms equipment. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Crownhill Roundabout, Crownhill – its east side entrance from Dansteed Way and it southbound exit to Watling Street.
Dansteed Way will also be closed westbound from Kensington Drive to Watling Street.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Portway and Watling Street (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect from 9th – 11th July 2026 between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 23rd June 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SMEATON CLOSE, BLAKELANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2409)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Smeaton Close, Blakelands – between numbers 47 and 55.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 29th June – 2nd July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ARNCLIFFE DRIVE (PART), HEELANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2371)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Arncliffe Drive, Heelands – Outside numbers 134/136 to 148.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 1st – 3rd July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (RAMSAY CLOSE (PART), BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2396)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Ramsay Close, Bradwell – Outside numbers 17 to 26.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 1st – 3rd July 2026.
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN BOW BRICKHILL, NORTH CRAWLEY, MONKSTON PARK, NEWPORT PAGNELL AND WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2390)
This order is to allow Anglian Water to undertake maintenance works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following lengths of road:
Church Street, Wolverton – its rear access/service road between Jersey Road and Windsor Street
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the can be no alternative diversion
The closure will be in effect from 22nd – 24th July 2026.
High Street, North Crawley – from Folly Lane to Chequers Lane
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via North Crawley Road, London Road, Newport Road, Cranfield Road, University Way and Crawley Road (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect from 21st – 23rd July 2026.
Bury Street, Newport Pagnell – From Silver Street to Cedars Way.
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Silver Street, Caldecote Street, Station Road, High Street and Cedars Way (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect from 20th -22nd July 2026.
Church Road, Bow Brickhill – from Church of All Saints to Longslade Lane.
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Longslade Lane, Woburn Road, Hardwick Road, The Leys and Bow Brickhill Road (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect on 28th July 2026.
Queensbury Lane, Monkston Park – From Harlesden Close to Rayners Lane.
Whilst the above road closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Rayners Lane, Colindale Street, Chaffron Way, Brickhill Street and Plaistow Crescent.
The closure will be in effect from 14th – 16th July 2026.
