This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th July 2026 to 14th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. This prohibition is necessary for works to improve and repair footways and it is expected that the prohibition will be from 22nd July 2026 to 21st August 2026.
