(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2026 (R26-133)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Willoughby on the Wolds in the Borough of Rushcliffe
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:
Hades Lane, Willoughby on the Wolds - From its junction with East Road for a distance of 360 metres in a southerly direction
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading in the following length of road at Willoughby on the Wolds in the Borough of Rushcliffe:- Hades Lane, Willoughby on the Wolds - (Both Sides) (At Any Time) - From its junction with East Road for a distance of 360 metres in a southerly direction
3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From Wednesday 08th July 2026
Until Tuesday 14th July 2026 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
Hades Lane, Wymeswold - Wide Lane, Wymeswold - East Road, Wymeswold - Back Lane, Willoughby on the Wolds - Vice versa
The Order will come into force on 8th July 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Via East Midlands to carry out carriageway repairs
