UNDER SECTION 14/1 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL) INTENDS TO MAKE ORDERS AS FOLLOWING
(FOOTPATH SPEE/6/2 IN THE PARISH OF SPEEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024
The Council with permission from the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the existing above titled order in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to continue to prohibit pedestrians from using the following footpath, namely FOOTPATH SPEE/6/2 from its junction with Footpath SPEE/37/1 to its junction with Footpath SPEE/7/2
The alternative route for all persons affected by the Order is via Bath Road, Station Road, Lambourn Road, and vice versa.
The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the footpath, namely for David Wilson Homes to erect residential dwellings at this location.
The extension shall continue in place from 17th June 2026 and will remain in force until 17th December 2026 or until works are completed whichever is the sooner.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024
