DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd a'r llwybr troed er mwyn cynnal atgyweiriadau i wal sydd wedi cwympo

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau'r rhannau canlynol o’r ffordd a’r llwybr troed grisiog i gerddwyr:

Cau Ffordd Dros Dro
• Bron Heulog, o'i chyffordd â Theras Dan-y-coed / Bythynnod Knoll, i gyfeiriad y gogledd orllewin am hyd o 45 metr

Cau Llwybr Troed Dros Dro
• Y llwybr troed grisiog o Fron Heulog i Deras y Rhedyn

Nid oes llwybr amgen ar gael ond fydd mynediad ar gael i'r eiddo

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau'r gwasanaethau brys

Mae disgwyl i'r ffordd a'r llwybr troed fod ar gau yn ystod y dyddiadau canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau:-
• Cau'n llawn o 6 Gorffennaf 2026 am gyfnod o 18 mis

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(SUNNYBANK, CLYDACH VALE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate repairs to a collapsed wall

The effect of the Order will be to close the following sections of road and pedestrian steps:

Temporary Road Closure
• Sunnybank, from its junction with Danycoed Terrace / Knoll Cottages, north westwards for a distance of 45 metres

Temporary Footpath Closure
• The stepped footpath from Sunnybank to Fern Terrace

There is no alternative route in place but access will be maintained to premises

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles

The closure is expected to be in operation during the following dates, or until such time as the works has been completed:-
• Full Closure from 6th July 2026 for a period of 18 months
