Ringwood - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – OLD SALISBURY ROAD, RINGWOOD, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Old Salisbury Road between a point 100 metres from its junction with A338 on both sides.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A338.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 6th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Excalon to complete utility works. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact joe.danson@excalon.com
