Martin Drove - Temporary Road Closure Due To Desilt Cleaning Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - MARTIN DROVE, MARTIN, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Martin Drove between its junction with A354 and continuing to a point 1500 metres Southwards on Martin Drove.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Browns Lane, Wimborne Street, B3081, A354.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 24th June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
