Rydal Crescent - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order For Carriageway Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (RYDAL CRESCENT) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Rydal Crescent, Walkden, M28 7JE, for its full length. The Order is necessary for carriageway resurfacing works. The order is due to come into operation on Thursday 23rd July 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 31st July 2026. The diversion routes are via Old Clough Lane - Devoke Avenue - Poplar Road. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be requested by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team via the email street.works@salford.gov.uk or the postal address below:
