Quab Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

Somerset Council Parish of Wedmore Temporary Closure of Quab Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Quab Lane - from the junction with Pilcorn Street to the junction with Quab Lane Close. A total distance of 228 metres.

This Order will enable Dunmore SW to carry out pole replacement works on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 7th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 17th July 2026 and last until 21st July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 5 days.
