THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(STOCKWELL ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Stockwell Road from its junction with
Church Hill Road to outside property 3.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 3rd July 2026, between the hours of
09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Malthouse Lane, Lower Street,
The Rock & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the replacement of a
pole by BT.
