What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
PART OF MOOR LANE, FULL SUTTON
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding along part of
Moor Lane, Full Sutton from Low Burtonfields Access
Road commencing 13 July 2026 until 31 July 2026.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed
part of Moor Lane, Full Sutton forming of passing places
works, to be carried out and completed in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is
anticipated that the works will be completed within
19 days. The alternative route for traffic affected by
the Order is via Moor Lane, Moor Road, Church Road,
Main Street, Roman Road, Bridlington Road and Hatkill
Lane, Stamford Bridge CP, Full Sutton CP, Skirpenbeck
CP, Pocklington Provincial Ward, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but access
will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.
The Order will commence 13 July 2026 and continue
in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months
or until the works which it is proposed to carry out
have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Further
